(HARRISBURG) – Senator David J. Arnold (R-48) secured a grant of $580,968 for Penn State Harrisburg from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP).
Penn State Harrisburg is focusing on creating a biobehavioral research and education clinical care center on the campus in Lower Swatara Township. The Wrisberg Hall Annex will be renovated and repurposed to house the Center where this research on the biological and behavioral contributors to disease, health, and overall wellness will be conducted.
“I am honored to have worked with Penn State Harrisburg to secure funding for this new building on the Penn State Harrisburg campus. The goals of this exciting project are to prepare the next generation workforce needed to holistically address behavioral disorders, including speech pathologies, autism, and drug and alcohol addiction by emphasizing the interrelatedness between these distinct behavioral health conditions,” Arnold said.
