State Senator David J. Arnold, Jr.
(R-Lebanon County)

State Senator Dave Arnold was elected to represent the 48th Senatorial District in a special election held on January 14th, 2020.

The 48th District includes the entirety of Lebanon County, northern York County and southern Dauphin County. Senator Arnold’s primary legislative objectives lie in ensuring the public’s safety, the reformation of property tax, and a reduction in government spending.

Senator Arnold graduated from Widener University School of Law in May of 1996 and passed the Bar Exam shortly thereafter. Senator Arnold spent 4 years in private practice with Feeman, Mesics, & Hopstetter. He was then elected to serve Lebanon County as their District Attorney. During Senator Arnold’s impressive 14 year term as District Attorney, he served as President of the Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Association from 2016-2017 following his election to the position by his fellow district attorneys.

As a life-long resident of Lebanon County he resides there with his wife, Alicia, and his daughter, Reese. He enjoys spending his time coaching his daughter’s softball team, as well as, regularly attending her field hockey games.
